So from what i've experienced, you should set out a small object (battery, cigarette lighter, etc.) on a table or stand of some kind not too far away. Just close your eyes, and focus on the battery moving. Nothing much more than this. I havent done much, but i have moved a battery about 2 cm. Even if nothing happens at first, just keep practicing. Either of the other mods have anything to add?

Hm, maybe try using telekinesis by not focusing on moving the object. Just know what you want to occur and just let it happen don't force it just let it.

I know this post is slightly forgotten now, but oh well.
When I first attemted to do telekenesis i put a memory-stick - that had a rope to go around your neck to carry it - onto a door handle and waited until it had completely stopped moving, and then tried to focus energy going out of my right hand and into my left to form a current that flowed through my upper body and back into my right hand. At first nothing happened so i tried to make the energy travel faster in the circuit and it started to move ever so slightly towards my left hand - probably only about 2 or 3 cm - but it was a start. Although I haven't tried it again because my parents are around the house almost all of the time i'm here.

That's interesting, I used to do mostly like korethis. Later I tried envisioning a sheath of energy surrounding the object and tried to manipulate the energy sheath in order to move the object. I never really had any success, but it's been a while since I've tried and my focus and visualization skills are much better than they were.
I don't think you have to worry about forgotten posts here yet, there isn't enough posts yet to forget about any of them. lol.

Yeah at first i tried kore's way, but with a round pencil instead, I was sat there for about half an hour trying without any success, so i thought that I might aswell try hanging something from string and moving it that way, the only problem with that is if there is any wind that it can be moved from that.

Yeah, mostly I just try with various random objects, pocketknife, toenail clippers, toothbrush, whatever happens to be handy.
Once I tried to lift my entire house, it failed of course, but size and weight only matters in your mind.
In truth I think all size and all weight is both infinite and null just like 1 can be divided by 2 infinitely and never reach true zero size, weight, distance, time, are all just concepts which help us deal with the world around us.
I think if we truly overcome these concepts we could lift a car one handed or teleport or fly or anything else we please.
Still it is one thing to know it intellectually and another to accomplish it.
I guess that's what the step by step in IIH is really all about, training us so that the intellectual becomes experiential.
